Sneak Peak Event: Empower Mindset

<p>I am an American residing in Tokyo, with 30 years of finance/investment banking experience in Asia, having worked in Hong Kong, Singapore, Australia, and Japan. I held various Chief Operating Officer roles over the years in both the financial sector as well as philanthropy institutions, I have broad experience in Equities, Human Resources, Strategy, Governance, Audit as well as Information Technology.<br />(Disclaimer: All posts are the views of myself and not Institutional Investor.)<br /><br />Having lived and worked in Japan over the last 30 years, I have dedicated the last 16 years to working in philanthropy groups, the current role being a middle person between Investors and NPOs and Social Enterprises regarding their funding requirements. Before this, I worked with Nomura International (Hong Kong), Barclays Capital (Japan), CLSA Credit Lyonnais Securities (Tokyo), and West LB Securities Pacific, Ltd(Tokyo) where I assumed the role of Chief Operating Officer/Operations Director.<br /><br />I graduated from the University of San Francisco with a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree and speak fluent Japanese and conversant in Spanish.</p>
